Dr. Hart practices at St. Louis University Hospitals, St. John's Mercy Hospital, St, Luke's Hospital, and Barnes-Jewish West Hospital. He also operates at HealthSouth surgery centers, Saint Louis Surgical Center, and Timberlake Surgery Center. Dr. Hart's primary area of interest is in the field of cosmetic surgery. He is especially interested in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery, cosmetic and reconstructive nasal surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and ultrasound assisted and tumescent liposuction and body contouring.

He is also an active volunteer and plastic surgery consultant to several overseas organizations that provide care to cleft lip and palate patients as well as burn children in Mexico, Peru and China. He has one son who is in graduate school at Stanford University.
Dr. Hart's outside interests include skiing, sailing, travel, history, art and music. He is an active member in the following medical organizations including the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
